(Testing) with Lori Lynn

Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

Last winter London was hit with a large snow storm just before Christmas, it was -10 degrees Celsius and the wind was killer making it seem much colder. But none of that stop Lori Lynn from being the pro that she is, strutting her stuff in Westminister Pond.

Hope you enjoy!

(Testing) with Val & Damon

Monday, February 16th, 2009

Over the next little while I thought it would be fun to show some of my person testing that I have done. Testing is basically a staged shoot with models for the purpose of trying out new techniques and ideas. It’s a great way of staying creative and challenging yourself…Keeping things fresh so to speak.

The first testing session I want to share is also my latest with Valerie and Damon. I have to give props to Val and Damon for this one, it was a chilly day and these two were real troopers for braving the wind without their jackets, but I tried my best to keep them warm by getting them to snuggling, kissing and running around in a circle (see the last image for that one) as much as possible.

I had lots of fun with this cute couple and who knows, maybe the next time I do a E-session with these two it will be the real deal…No pressure Damon ;-)

Sunday at the Children’s Museum

loganmuseum

It’s a gorgeous day for a Sunday in February and not wanting to be stuck in the house I decided to take Logan to the Children’s Museum here in London. A while back he got hooked on dinosaurs after watching the movie Jurassic Park (and who could blame him, that was a cool movie!). These days, if you want a buy Logan a gift that you know he’ll love, you best bet is a dinosaur.

Logan had a great time digging for fossils in the sandbox and running around the little cave setup they have there. I tried to show him that there were more displays and we wondered around for a bit, but it didn’t take long to end up back at the dinosaur room where he was playing with the other kids.

If you live or are ever in London and haven’t been to the Children’s Museum, I highly suggest you go. It’s no Museum of Natural History or anything, but I guarantee your little ones will enjoy themselves.
