You could argue that this is not a very appropriate image for a wedding photographer, but I believe this image is a perfect way to introduce Echo, it pretty much ”echoes” (pardon the pun) the reality of meeting her in real life.
If you were to hire me for your wedding, there is a good chance Echo will be my second shooter. We trade back and forth, I have shot for her and she has shot for me. At first glance you would think her appearance doesn’t cry “Wedding Photographer”, but once you talk to her and get to know here, you would realize that she isn’t a wedding photographer, she’s an artist that does weddings.
Whether it’s painting or photography, when it comes to the visual arts, Echo has an amazing talent with some killer vision. Currently she is taking part in the “Free Them of Choice” exhibition put on by the Lensfactory. If you are in the Toronto area, the show is being held at 1040 Queen St West till January 31. I think this will not be the first time you hear of Echo Gardiner. It won’t be long till she is putting on her own shows, she has a very bright future in the world of art.
On top of being a talented visual artist, she has to be one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! She keeps telling me that she has a sharper edge, but I don’t believe her, she may have a temper that she keep well hidden, but in the end she is just a huge sweet heart.
Echo is one of those people that you can truly count on. In this world of broken commitments and no shows, Echo has never disappointed. If you need her, all you have to do is call, If she says she will be there, she will be there. It is quite refreshing to find someone so dependable these days.
If you want to check out some of Echo’s work, I suggest hitting up her blog over at http://echosvisuals.wordpress.com/ and leave some love in the comments of your favorite posts.
I just want to finish by saying “Thanks Echo, I owe you a lot for all your help! There really is no way I can repay you, but I hope this post goes towards a little of that debt.”
